In collaboration with our partners, we are thrilled to announce that registrations and abstract submissions are open for the TREVOR-SAFARI Symposium 2026. Applications are also invited for participation in the associated training course.
This landmark event brings together two major community-building activities—the second international TREVOR symposium and the third SAFARI symposium—inspired by the legacy of Prof. Trevor Platt, FRS, FRSC.
The theme for TREVOR-SAFARI Symposium 2026 is “Aquatic Ecosystems including Fisheries in a Changing World, Global Context, and Tropical Perspectives”.
The training course will focus on “Observing marine ecosystem structure and function: from microbial communities to fisheries and human health”. Trainees are expected to present their research at the symposium and participate actively in it.
Limited financial support for travel and accommodation for Early Career Ocean Professionals from developing countries is planned.
